Contact lists can be used to organise your database into groups to enable you to communicate with multiple contacts seamlessly without the hassle of selecting them individually.
How to create a Contact List
To add a list of contacts, go to Contacts > Lists > New List
The pop-up message box lets you add a name to your contact list. You can also add a “group email address” for email to SMS bulk sending.
To do this, click ‘Create list’ to proceed. Once done, the email to SMS box will be displayed on the ‘Lists’ page.
How to import a list of contacts
On the Lists page, click the ‘Import’ button to add contacts.
You will then see the Import contacts page, you can proceed by uploading a file.
Click ‘Add to lists’ and select the contact list names (select as many as preferred) that you wish your contacts to be part of.
Once done, click on the ‘Import contacts’ button.
| Advanced Options - If the data in your column does not match an existing contact list name, a new contact list will be created using the value from the field. This can result in many new contact lists being created so ensure you've selected the correct column and list name. |
How to send quick messages to a contact group
Group names in your ‘Lists’ can be searched in the “Search lists” field by inputting part or all of the names and clicking enter.
To do this, go to Contacts > Lists. Click the ellipsis (the stacked dots to the right) of the contact group name. In the resulting menu, click on Send Message.
In the same section, you can also Edit or Delete a list.

How to delete a list
Delete list lets you delete one or more lists as you add them to the selected list field.
When you tick the box 'Delete contacts within the selected lists', the contacts that exist within the selected list will be deleted from the database.
How to send Email to SMS to a contact list
When you create your contact list, you are prompted to enter a group email handle.
In the contact list, the group email to SMS address will then appear.
Once you have registered your email address/domain for email to SMS, you can send an email to [group email to SMS address]@e2s.smsbroadcast.com. The email content will be processed by SMSBroadcast's SMS gateway and sent as an SMS to the group members.
How to Adjust Columns
You can reorder columns in your list view by dragging and dropping. The adjust columns feature lets you toggle the buttons On or Off based on your column view preference.
You can access 'Other List features' like merge, export, and delete by ticking any box in your list.
Merge – enables merging of two or more selected lists.
Export – allows downloading of one or more lists from the account.
Delete – permanently removes the selected list from the database. One cannot undo the task once completed.
