How does Reporting differ between the old and new portals?

There are some key differences between the old and new web portals when it comes to reporting.

In the previous portal, you needed to enter search criteria in order to view - meaning you needed to know some fairly specific search information such as broadcast dates in order to view the data you were looking for.

The new platform presents message data in a filterable dashboard including three charts to show sent message volume, billing unit volume, and inbound message volume. Beneath the charts you will find summary tables for outbound and inbound messages, with the ability to add or remove data columns as required to provide a tailored view of data. All charts and tables are governed by the filters at the top of the page.

You also have the ability to email report data based on the selected criteria, to email recipients of your choosing.

Broadcast reports can be viewed under the main Messaging menu, where you will see separate items for sent and received message data.

Clicking on “Sent” will bring up a list of all outbound broadcasts sorted by the date that each one was sent. By clicking on the ellipses on the right, you are given options to either edit the name of the broadcast or forward the message to another set of recipients in the form of a new message.

To review each broadcast, click on the broadcast name and you will be presented with the broadcast summary. Here you will see an overview of the broadcast details, a delivery status summary, and an engagement summary. Data from each tab in the engagement summary can be exported as a CSV file which is emailed to the address associated with your account.

Inbound messages can be reviewed by clicking “Received” under the messaging menu, whereby a list of all inbound messages will be shown, sorted by their received date and time. To the right of each message is the Quick Reply button, which opens up the Quick Message feature pre-loaded with the contact information.
